LA’s “Best Badass Burlesque” show returns with a special request for all of it’s fans… Bring your singles ladies and gents as we are raiding money for THE BURLESQUE HALL OF FAME!
Located in Las Vegas, the world’s only burlesque museum is about to lose it’s facility and wants to open a full fledged museum where it can highlight not it’s vintage collection of burlesque memorabilia including SALLY RAND’S FANS, GYSPY ROSE LEE’S travel trunk, and PENNY STARR, SR.S torredor costume, but also new acquisitions from neo-burlesque (like the ski bunny costume worn by Penny Starr, Jr. when she performed on crutches with a broken leg—possibly the first burlesque dancer to twirl tassels on crutches!) Burlesque Hall of Fame also hosts the annual mecca for burlesque dancers everywhere, The Hall of Fame Weekend, featuring not only the annual Miss Exotic World Competition but also Legends Night and reunion, bringing in burlesque dancers from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s and allowing us to reconnect with our roots. This is where you come in!
Along with a percentage of our profits going to this fine establishment, we will be raffling prizes off like signed posters by the cast and crew of VVH, a copy of Brian C Jane’s burlesque book It’s All That Glitters, costume pieces, and a signed poster of Margaret Cho from her performance here on VVH.
And if that’s not enough, we will be having Go-Go for Dollars during intermission! Yes, the ladies and men of VVH will be shakinf their money makers and accepting tips towards the donation.
We also have Chicago-cum-San Francisco Dolls of Doom performer LOLA MARTINET coming to VVH to show you what happens when you open the gates of burlesque hell.

Now in it’s 8th year, produced by award-winning burlesque dancer Penny Starr, Jr,, VVH is a mix of high glamour and a sick sense of humor. The show has a rotating cast of accomplished stripteasers, comedians and musicians and has featured guest stars like Prince Poppycock, Margaret Cho, Kate Flannery (The Office), Greg Behrendt, Vernon Wells (The Road Warrior) and Rick Overton, to name a few.
In addition to their twice monthly show at Skinny’s Lounge, VVH has produced LA’s and San Diego’s longest running sci-fi themed burlesque show SUPERNOVA A-GO-GO, and was featured in the Hollywood Fringe Festival with THE WRONG SHOW: A NIGHT OF OFFENSIVE MATERIAL.
